Join us as the Old Downtown Gallery launches its new permanent exhibit & sale of fine Inuit carvings, both vintage and current, wallhangings plus select prints and drawings. A seven foot  Narwhal Tusk is included in the offerings.

Historian, traveler and collector Matthew Mutch will be in the Gallery Saturdays September 13th, 20th and 27th to discuss his travels to the Arctic, his collections and stories of life in the north.

Over 100 items from the Central Arctic region will be showcased. In addition, the exhibition will include a selection of over 50 carvings, both vintage and current, from other Inuit communities.

You are invited to join us on Saturday September 13th, 20th and 27th as historian, traveler and collector Matthew Mutch will be in the Gallery from 12 noon to mix and discuss his travels and collections.

Over 70 carvings from the Central Arctic region will be showcased. In addition, the exhibition will include more than 50 carvings, both vintage and newer, from other Inuit communities. 

The sale will continue on a permanent basis during regular business hours, Tuesday to Saturday 10:00 am to 5:00pm.

After hours appointments are available.
